A path into endodontics that started at sixteen
Dr. Anna Sidor decided on dentistry as a teenager and started her training at sixteen. She completed a seven-year dental program, then a hospital-based general practice residency at Jersey Shore Hospital, and went on to practice as a general dentist before specializing.
That order matters for the patient in her chair. She spent years doing the restorative work that follows a root canal, so when she plans treatment, she is thinking about the crown that goes on afterward and the tooth’s next twenty years, not just the canal in front of her.
She later completed advanced endodontic training at Albert Einstein Medical Center and earned board certification in endodontics from the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Sidor’s Area of Expertise
Dr. Sidor’s practice is limited to endodontics, which means saving teeth that would otherwise be extracted. Her focus areas include:
- Root canal therapy on teeth with infected or inflamed pulp
